In the app
- Open the Bark & Ride app and sign in.
- Tap Profile, then Delete account at the bottom.
- Read what will happen, type DELETE, and tap Delete my account.
If one of your trips is under way at that moment, the app asks you to wait until it's finished.
By email
Can't use the app? Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm by email once it's done.
What is deleted and what we keep
- Deleted: your name, email, mobile number, emergency contact, pickup addresses and access notes, and your dogs' profiles, notes and photos.
- Cancelled: trips you haven't taken yet. Paid seats more than 24 hours away are refunded in full; any membership ends.
- Kept, without your name: payment and booking records, because tax law requires us to keep them. Nothing in them identifies you any more.
Handlers' trip location is deleted after 30 days in any case. See our privacy policy for everything else.
